Something that comes up frequently and people really under-estimate the importance of… Digestion!
If you are not properly digesting the food you are eating and your body isn’t functioning optimally on the inside – You won’t be getting the nutrients you should be AND your fat loss / muscle gain goals can be massively hindered!
A lot of our girls are used to eating very little when they first join the team after years of misinformed dieting. This can cause the stomach to struggle to cope with a ‘normal’ intake of food when you first make the change. Your natural digestive enzymes will have deregulated over time – This is also the reason that a lot of people think they are intolerant to certain food types after illness or prolonged dieting – they’re actually not , it’s just that their body has temporarily lost the ability to cope with the digestive strain it’s under.
So how can we combat this?

Stick with it for a few weeks and if the above steps don’t improve your bloating then it is possible you may have a genuine food intolerance and need to avoid the culprit that you identified from your log!
